Around these parts Mr. Beatman is very popular with the toddler set. He does songs and stories targeted for the 1 to 3 age group. We had heard of him but never seen him before. Most of our mornings are taken up these days with preschool and babysitting, but Justin and I took advantage of no preschool on election day to meet our friends Pascale and Madeleine at Barnes and Noble for a little treat in the coffee shop, follow by Mr. Beatman at storytime.
Here are Maddie and Justin, being cool hangin' out in their highchairs at the coffee shop.
This picture is not the best photograph in the world, but shows you Mr. Beatman with his guitar and Justin watching him while chewing on the wheel of a car (which is what he did for almost the entire show). Since school was out that day it was super crowded, and we had to sit back among the shelves. But we had fun anyway.
