Learning to use the camera

Tim and I decided to try to learn how to use some of our camera's manual controls--the camera we've had for years and never really experimented with! We took it along on a hike a couple weekends ago.

Here's Justin dropping sticks and rocks off of a bridge--one of his favorite activities.


What we tried to do on this hike was use manual focus to get pictures with the subject in focus and the background blurry. Close ups seemed like the easiest way to practice this, so we all got up close and person with each other!
