Samuel eating

We didn't start Justin on "solid" food until he was more than five months old, but with Samuel being about two pounds heavier than Justin was at four months and hungry aaaaaaall the time, we decided to give it a try sooner. Shortly after he turned four months we tried giving him some baby oatmeal made with breast milk. He seemed confused and didn't eat much. After a few more less-than-successful tries, on April 1 we mixed in some mashed banana, and he got much more interested in eating.

"What? Do I have something on my face?"

Since then he's had some oatmeal with either banana or applesauce mixed in one to two times every day. I think we will branch out soon. Perhaps sweet potato will be next!

Bananas are good. (just a little dorky Doctor Who reference, there)

and sweet potatoes are an excellent choice. Mmm...sweet potatoes.
