Cousins

On July 14 we went to the home of my cousin Lauren, her husband Ryan, and their two daughters Isabel and Lily. Lauren is actually my second cousin, making the kids third cousins to each other. Patty and Audrey came down for the day, too.

Lauren had some activities planned, including decorating plates with permanent markers.

They also made homemade ice cream.

But Sam was satisfied with a wooden spoon.

Afterward we put Justin in Patty's car instead of ours, and he went up and spent two nights with them in Vienna. It was his first time away from home overnight without a parent. He did great. I think he missed Sam more than he missed me or Tim.
