Feeding the Animals

Back on July 31 (Yes, I'm way behind!) we spent a Saturday morning at the zoo. I wasn't actually planning on blogging about this, since we've shared zoo pictures a couple times before, and the zoo hasn't changed. However, this was the first time Justin was brave enough to feed the animals himself AND we had the camera along, so I just had to share...

Tim got the feeding started with one of the emus:


Justin and I fed a giraffe together. The giraffes are one of Justin's favorite things to see at the zoo.




They have a small enclosure with Budgie (?) birds. This one was very interested in Tim and his shirt. (Bonus points to anyone who can find me and Justin in this picture!)

When Justin feeds animals, he almost always opens his mouth wide, as if he is helping them to know what to do.
