Preschool Field Day

On May 26 Justin's preschool class had a field day to celebrate the end of the regular preschool year. (He is currently attending the summer session, but with different teachers, so this really was an ending of sorts.)

The kids all made special t-shirts for the occasion with their handprints on the front and their names on the back.

Here is Justin in his classroom before we went outside:

We gave the teachers joint gifts from the class before we went out. As you can see, Ms. Marcia was a little more excited about this than was the girl in her lap!

Showing off for their parents how good they are at lining up to go outside:

Some field day fun...

It was a hot, hot day outside (in the 90's). Must pause for water break!

We were supposed to have an outside picnic after the field day play time, but since it was so hot and there is not a speck of shade out there in the church yard, we had our picnic inside instead.

Here we are sharing our blanket with our friends the Thomas's.

Chow time!

Here is Justin getting a ribbon and a folder with some of his artwork from the course of the whole year:

The closest we could get to a class picture. I think a kid or two was missing:

When reflecting on the fun of field day, it helps to hold a straw:

What a fun day! Thanks for the great pictures! I have a better idea of Justin and his pre-school. -- Cousin Ann
