Derwood in July

We took a trip up to Maryland in July. First we stayed in Derwood for a few days with Tim's parents. While we were there we had an outing to Cabin John Park. They have a fun and extensive playground there.

Justin enjoyed climbing up to the top of things:

They also had some tall slides that the boys enjoyed:

Quick hug for Grandmother mid-play:

One of the nice things about this park is the train ride you can take. Here we are waiting for departure:

On the way out of the station we waved to Grandpa:

Sam was saying, "Choo choo!"

Very weird, very creepy pig thing that talks and eats trash:

If you want to hear how he sounds, you can watch this video on YouTube. Very strange.

Back at the McNeel yard, the McNeel men:

Catching fireflies:

A deer through the woods:

After Derwood we headed over to Annapolis, where we dropped Justin off for the week. He attended the VBS that my mom runs at her church. The different classes were given animal names, and Justin was in the giraffe class. Audrey was a helper for his class. Here they are ready for their first day as giraffes:

They had a fun week!
