Natural Bridge

In June, we visited Natural Bridge, VA. Here are the boys, ready to be tourists:

They found a furry friend in the gift shop.

Down to the Cedar Creek Trail:

The main attraction:

They say George Washington carved his initials here in the rock under the bridge.

Farther along the trail is a Monacan Living History Exhibit. I was surprised by how interested the boys were in it.

Justin spent at least 15 minutes asking this interpreter questions.

We found Lost River:

Lace Falls at the end of the trail:

Close-ups of eyes:

Walking back:

Back under the bridge:

Ann, it's a bit more than two hours away. We stayed in the area for a few days on a little vacation. Tim was the one who did this post, so I'll give him credit for the caption. :)
