Cabin

A few days ago Tim posted about our visit to the Natural Bridge. This was part of a three day vacation we did back in June. While there we stayed in a small cabin at a KOA campground. And I mean a small cabin!

One of the really nice things about this cabin for us was that it had a playground right behind it, so we could let the boys go play and keep an eye on them while we were setting up dinner or reading at the side of the cabin. Here's the view from our table down to the playground:

And a view of the back of our cabin from the playground (I think this one shows well how small it was):

Here's the view in from the front door:

You can see there is one main room which is mostly taken up by a bed. Towards the back there is a small dining table and a mini-kitchen with a sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. There was also a bathroom back there, to the right of the kitchen.

You might have noticed the stairs in the picture above. Those go up to a loft, which is where the boys slept on mattresses on the floor.

They loved having that space up there to themselves.

Some fun around the cabin...

S'mores!

We will do another post or two soon to show you what else we did while we were there.
