Easter Afternoon

After Justin's nap on Easter we went out into the backyard for an egg hunt. Well, sort of. If you can still call it an egg hunt when he watched me put the eggs out, and there was nothing inside them! Really, we just played with the eggs and his bucket in the backyard. But we had fun!

He's a bit young for hunting well-hidden eggs, but he enjoyed going around to collect the ones I scattered about (and identifying their colors as he went)...




We also got in some time playing with his new (to him) playhouse. My cousins Erik and Beth played in this house when they were kids, and we thank the Alexis fam for passing it on to us!



These next two pictures are older, but also show him enjoying the playhouse. He really likes to close the shutters and then throw them open with enthusiasm!


I think it was Gram and Poppy on the phone. Or, it might have been "Gram-mooer" and "Pa Pa." I don't remember for sure. :)
