Tim and I decided we were sufficiently recovered to travel to Maryland for Christmas, so we headed to his parents' house on the 23rd. On the 24th we exchanged presents with Grandmother and Grandpa in the morning.

That afternoon we headed over to my parents' house. After a children's service at church in the afternoon and dinner in the early evening, it was time for bed. My dad always read The Night before Christmas to Patty and me before bed on Christmas Eve. He's continuing the tradition with his grandchildren.
