Two months old

Samuel reached the two month mark on Sunday. He had a good check-up on Monday, and now weighs 13 pounds and 2 ounces. At birth Samuel was 13 ounces lighter than Justin had been, but now at two months Samuel weighs one pound and three ounces more than his big brother did at the same age. He is now at the 95th percentile for weight. He's been packing on the pounds!

At two months Sammy is looking around a lot more than he used to. I think we might have seen a couple of tiny little "social smiles," but we are mostly still waiting for the smiles to start. A few nights recently he has slept for 6 hours in a row, which has been nice for me (and one unusual night he even slept 7 and a half! I'm hoping for more of that soon!). He can now hold his own head up fairly well when his body is supported upright, though it still wobbles sometimes. And he continues to practice using his hands:

Its so fun to see Sammy and all your comments and how close our little guys are! Sammy is doing really well with reaching for things! We've gotten quite a few little smiles out of N these days, which is rewarding because most of the time he is eating, fussing, or sleeping, he really doesn't do much else. I think he's been having a little reflux or GER. His 2 month appointment is next Friday! :)
