Christmas presents

We have a tradition going on this blog in which we try to catch up by doing a post every day for the twelve days of (or after) Christmas. We'll try to do this again this year, since once again, there are a lot of pictures from 2014 that we haven't shared yet.

I'll start with some Christmas present pictures. As we often do, we decided to exchange Christmas presents as a family before making our annual Christmas trip to Maryland, so these pictures are from the Saturday before Christmas.

This year Justin gave Sam a Spider-man toy.

His parents orchestrated things so that Sam could give Justin a similar Iron Man toy. Justin has been asking for an Iron Man for a long time, so he was happy.

We took a break from present opening to have the traditional Houston family breakfast of orange and cinnamon rolls.

Here is some artwork that the boys gave us for Christmas:

Worn out from present opening, the boys had a TV break:

Later on they took their new remote control cars outside.

Remote control cars are also fun for the daddy to use! -- Cousin Ann (who used the remote control helicopter that Jacob got)
