Here we all are on our horses...

For the most part, each horse just follows the one in front of it on the trail, but they did give us some quick pointers on how to get the horses to start, stop, and go left and right. Here we are headed out of the yard.

That afternoon we went on a nature walk led by the park naturalist (Nick). This one focused on tree identification. The naturalist helped us identify trees around one of the picnic areas, though several in our party are pretty good at tree identification themselves.
Wednesday was also my sister's birthday, and we celebrated that night. It was also a celebration for the other July birthdays in our group: my Mom, Audrey, and Justin.
