Birthday party

The Sunday following Justin's birthday we had a "pop" themed party for him.

We started with bubbles outside (which can be popped).

Before going inside we also had some POPsicles.

I tried to convince Sam to hold his by the stick, but he was insistent on doing it this way:

This got quite messy after a while:
 

Inside I gave the kids some bubble wrap to POP, and they got lolliPOPs as a prize for popping all of it.

Then we made some POPcorn.

Back by popular demand, the "pass the present" game that we also played at Justin's party last year. This had nothing to do with popping.

The cake. This was actually supposed to be a big lollipop with the number 5 on it, but general consensus was that it turned out to be a balloon. Oh well, balloons can pop!

Justin offered his guests some sprinkles for their cake and ice cream.

I guess Sam didn't think his hand got cold enough holding the popsicle outside, so he tried a handful of ice cream.
